As most of you know already, I was very fortunate to be invited by Nokia Connects to attend this years Nokia World in London this week. I was not expecting it and to be honest feel very privileged to be a part of what I believe will be the event of all events in the history of Nokia.
Nokia having suffered substantial market share losses over the last few months since Stephen Elops announcement back in February, is expected to become a major player once again with the announcement of the first Nokia Windows Phones tomorrow during his keynote speech. Rumour has it that there will be at least three new devices announced – mainly the already leaked Nokia Lumia 800, an almost identical device to the N9 but with WP7.5, the Nokia Lumia 710 and the Nokia 900 – both also WP7.5, but as I said – its a rumour for now, so guys – hang in there. There will also be a number Q&A sessions, loads of hands on time with the new devices and lots more.
I have already arrived in London and am writing to you from my hotel room just across the street from Nokia World. During the two day event I will be tweeting live (and if you are not following me yet, you can on @joaoluisc) and taking loads of pictures and sharing some of the highlights from the keynotes and Q&A sessions I will be attending.
