Heads up folks – 4squick PRO is out and available on Nokia Store

Considered as the best Foursquare check-in client for Symbian / MeeGo devices, 4 squick has grown in popularity since it’s first beta release a few months ago.

Today, the developers released 4squick pro which is now available from Nokia Store in all regions (if it doesn’t appear in yours yet, don’t worry and try again in a day or two as it should appear) As an added bonus to all the faithful fans that have helped bring this version out of beta – with all their suggestions and bug reports, the developers are offering this app for a very limited period, for only 1.06 Euro / 0.99 USD. (The MeeGo version should be available from tomorrow – still in final stages of Q&A)

So lets take a look at what this version brings:

This release brings a couple of new features, mainly related to notifications and commenting. Now you can comment on all of your friends’ check-ins and get notified whenever something happens in Foursquare. You can also add multiple photos to your check-in, even afterwards just like in tips.

Then there are a couple of smaller things like showing badges and mayorships, adding/removing friendships and quite a bunch of UI fixes.

The developers have also got the photo uploader selector run a lot smoother. Now it also displays ALL the photos stored in your device (MOLOME support anyone? yep, got it!)

For those that are unable to purchase the pro version, you need not worry as your current beta version will be updated with a free semi-pro version which will include some of pro’s functionality in the near future.
